On July 28th, we packed up our BBQ, loads of games, and our entire staff and headed for Marlboro, Alberta. We felt that being in Marlboro for World Hepatitis Day would be a great opportunity to get to know the locals. With many of our efforts focused in Jasper, Hinton, Edson and Whitecourt we wanted to let the Marlboro community know that we are there for them as well. We got to meet around 25 residents and talk to them about Hepatitis, HIV, harm reduction, and our upcoming overdose prevention program. MP Jim Eglinski even came out to show his support and cook up some hot dogs!
Thanks for having us, Marlboro!
